DR Sangeeta Punjabi

Dr Sangeeta Punjabi is an experienced Consultant Dermatologist having trained in the UK and Overseas (India).

Dr-s-Punjabi-MiravueDr Punjabi is registered fully with the GMC on the specialist register and is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, and a member of the contact dermatitis group.  Her dermatological career spans from covering post graduate studies in Dermatology in India to training and research in skin cancer (Basal Cell carcinoma) in the UK.

She specialises in all aspects of General dermatological disease with a particular interest in Asian skin and contact dermatitis.  Having been attached to a premier institute at Imperial CollegeHealth Care NHS Trust, Hammersmith Hospital, has allowed her to strengthen her expertise in Dermatology including skin cancer, acne , acne scarring, pigmentation, and other dermatological problems.

She has been a very keen organiser of General Practice Skin Clubs and is involved regularly in teaching primary care both as lectures and supporting community clinics over the years.  She is also involved in teaching medical students at the Imperial College and has carried out workshops for nurses and pharmacists in the community.

She is on the committee that monitors guidelines for various dermatological disease and is actively involved in updating patient information leaflets.  She enjoys covering all aspects of Dermatology including moles and mole removals, laser treatments, acne scarring, botulinum toxin treatments, chemical peels, fillers.

She currently wishes to develop her interest further in Asian skin and skin allergies (contact dermatitis).
