Dermal Fillers in Uxbridge
Dermal fillers are hugely popular for their aesthetic uses. They are commonly used to reverse the signs of aging and clear away evidence of scars due to acne or surgery. A semi-permanent method, they work by plumping the skin: this clears away any imperfections in the skin such as wrinkles and creases.
A dermal filling procedure takes about 30 minutes to complete.
Remove Wrinkles and Get Smoother Skin
Dermal fillers are made of collagen materials. Collagen is a particular type of protein which is major structural component of the skin. Collagen fillers can be made synthetically or from natural products, and are injected into the skin. The skin then plumps-up to match the level of the surrounding skin, making it appear smoother and minimising the appearance of wrinkles.
There are two main types of dermal fillers that are widely used. Juvaderm ULTRA® is probably the most common and is created by a company called Allergan, known for their Botox® products. This is the product which we use as it is one of the most effective available.
